Genesis 3:4,5 “The serpent said to the woman. You will never die. For God knows that when you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will know right from wrong, as God does."
We make our own path in life by every choice we make and go on.
But sometimes, we don't even realize what choices we are making.
Satan stimulates our unconscious mind. Satan stimulates our unconscious, not in our choices, but in our feelings of hope, delusion, and desire.
We tend to take "facts" and transform them into images that we can easily accept.
This is because we often perceive ourselves as feeling satisfied, pleasant, accomplished, dreamy and at peace in our emotions.
The values and common sense of this world are unconsciously imprinted on us, and for every word the serpent says, an imprinted impression is immediately associated with it. And we become more and more separated from God.
We are influenced by what we see, hear, and touch.
We need to remember that even when we think "I'm fine," we are greatly influenced on an unconscious level.
Therefore, we need to look at Jesus, hear His voice, and touch Him every day to be prepared for the influences of this world.
There will always come a time when we will have to make choices based on our own thoughts and not on our emotions. At that time, if we do not know who our God is and who we are as human beings, we will only be able to make choices that are tempted by our emotions.
Every day is a time of grace and every day is a time of God's guidance. And the evidence of our connection with God is our gratitude, joy, and hope in Him despite the reality of the world pressing on us!
