Proverbs 31:28. 'Her sons will stand and call her blessed, and her husband will praise her and say, "Blessed is the woman whose mother taught her."'

This is a word of praise for the words of Lemuel the king of Massah, i.e., for what his mother taught him.

There, we read of the devoted work of a wise wife and mother.

Women in biblical times were treated as if they were not even worthy of existence, but they had a great influence in unseen ways.

Even today, there are situations and environments in which women are not recognized as equals to men, but I believe that God did not create men and women as equals in roles, but gave each of them unique roles and abilities.

The woman in Proverbs seems to work hard, to be aware, and radiate the character of God.

Verse 25 says, "Power and grace are her clothing.

Not only women, but all human beings have the desire to have themselves recognized for their abilities and efforts.

But we see that the women in the Bible do what they do for the other person, not because of the other person, but because they are serving God.

Are we doing the small, mundane, everyday tasks as serving God?

When we think about it this way, we are truly humbled.

By serving God, we are having our character refined.

We were just stones, but God is trying to make us into diamonds through service, devotion, and trials.

By ourselves, we are just a piece of stone, but in God's hands, He transforms us into rubies and sapphires.

God's treasures are hidden in the mundane tasks of our daily lives.
