1 Timothy 2:3,4 “This is good and pleasing before God our Savior. For God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."
What is good and pleasing to our Savior is "to give supplication, prayer, intercession, and thanksgiving for the sake of all men. This, Paul says, is so that we may live a restful and quiet life, truly pious and very earnest.
Our life is not ours to lead, but God's.
To make it easier for God to work in every aspect of our lives, we are to notice, pray, and intercede for God to work in our lives and other people's lives.
Through such a way of life, people around us can come to know God and share our joy.
People's hearts are moved not by a series of miracles, but when we come alongside them in their pain, cry with them, rejoice with them, and walk with them.
When we do not look only to our own salvation and deeds, but look outside of ourselves and hope and ask God to work there, we are working in partnership with God.
All we can do is to report to God what He has made us aware of, offer intercession, and express our gratitude and joy, believing that God will hear and fulfill our requests.
Let us get behind God so that He can work as He pleases. And let us share every single thing that God works together!
