Hebrews 3:7-8 'So then, as the Holy Spirit says: "I am the Lord your God, and you are the Lord my God. If you hear the voice of God today, do not be hard-hearted as you were when you rebelled against Him when you were tried in the wilderness."

God is doing all kinds of work for our best, even when we don't realize it.

We often feel as if God is not doing anything for us because we are unaware of His work.

But the Holy Spirit patiently gives us notice.

We feel extraordinary joy and gratitude when we notice even the slightest bit of it.

But God's blessings to us don't end there.

God is eager to bless us more and to rejoice with us.

But God's insights are not always pleasant for us, and we often pretend to be unaware of God's work if it is not what we want, or we put it off even if we are aware of it.

When God gave the Israelites manna during the Exodus, He gave them only what they needed for that day. They could not eat the remainder of today's manna the next day, nor could they gather it for the next day.

The same is true of our spiritual food.

There are things we do not want to face. We want to hide from God and run away from what God reveals to us but, God understands our weakness and laziness better than we do. We should not hide them from God.

The Holy Spirit will surely work there and lead us to open doors that we feel we do not want to open.

God is working in each of our actions in ways that are miraculous.

So instead of choosing "stubbornness" to protect our hearts, we choose to "surrender" ourselves to God.

God will surely do His best there!
