Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The consequence of sin is death, but this does not mean that "if we sin, God gives us death," but rather that it is inherently impossible for us to live apart from God, since sin is separation from God.

But God has given us the gift of Jesus Christ when we have separated ourselves from God.

That gift is the gift that can only come from God, who frees us from sin that leads to death and gives us new life if we believe in and accept Jesus.

We cannot pay the wages of sin in any way.

No matter how good a Christian we are, no matter how much we contribute to the world, no matter how well we keep all the Law, it is impossible to pay the wages of sin in this way.

We just have to accept and receive God's gifts.

God's gifts depend on our choices, but we do not have to worry about our choices because we know who God is. It is not whether we sin or not, but only whether we want to choose God or not. The moment we think in our heart, "I want to choose God! God will grab us tightly and not let go the moment we think in our hearts, "I want to choose God!

God sees us as victims of sin.

He knows that it is impossible for us not to sin on our own.

That is why He gave us His only begotten Son as a gift. This is God's love!
