Mark 10:42-44 “Then Jesus called them all together and said. 'As you know, among the Gentiles those who are regarded as rulers rule over the people, and the great ones wield power. But not so among you. Whoever wants to be great among you should be a servant of all, and whoever wants to be the highest should be a servant of all."
God's values are completely different from the values of the world.
God's values are not something that we have to endure in this world to obtain.
God's values are not something we can obtain by doing something.
If there is such a thing, it is that we become tainted with God's values by loving and pursuing Him.
But if, our motive is "I love God because He first loves me, I want to follow him, I want to be close to him," and that is it.
This allows us to be servants without any discomfort.
The more we know how much God has done for us and how He has treated us, the less we care about our status. Instead, we want to be useful to God, to be used by God, and to receive God's calling.
There is only joy, gratitude, and hope.
God can do anything by Himself without our help, but He chooses to work with us. This is because He values the sharing of joy and excitement.
God created us as "those who can share.
We do not value our ability or position in this world, but rather, we value being with God and sharing our joy.
This is the light of the world and the salt of the earth.
Let it be a light that does not go out in the midst of a storm.
