Philippians 2:11

"Every tongue shall praise God the Father by publicly proclaiming, 'Jesus Christ is Lord.'"

We humans do not fully know that we cannot live without God.

No wonder, since we are born and live in a world under the influence of sin.

But God did everything He could to get us humans back from Satan, and He risked His life to save us.

Jesus' cry on the cross is the cry that must tell of His feeling of being abandoned by God because of human sin.

Even though we have abandoned and separated ourselves from God by our own actions, God never abandons or separates us, but quietly protects us with infinite love and patience. It is as if we live without knowing the extent of God's protection.

We human beings, through God's mercy, are allowed to be unaware of the deepest sorrows that Jesus experienced.

Sometimes we feel abandoned by God, but God has never abandoned us.

God the Father has never abandoned us, and in judging His one and only Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, as a sinner, He has shown His love for mankind by not wishing for a single soul to perish.

When our tongues are touched by this extraordinary unconditional love of God, we cannot help but praise Him. We are created in God's image and likeness.

When we know God's love, let us use our tongues to rejoice in Him!
