Matthew 19:14 ”But Jesus said, "But I tell you the truth. But Jesus said, "Let the children come. Do not hinder them from coming to Me. For to such belongs the kingdom of heaven."

Even though we know that we should go to God, we sometimes hesitate to go to Him because of our condition.

We think, "I can't come to God like this," or "I can't come to God until I work harder and become a good Christian," and so on, and we hold back from taking the first step toward God.

God wants us to come to Him. He wants to be with us.

He doesn't care if we do well or not at present state.

Children do what they want to do honestly and immediately.

We, like children, want to be able to go to God when we want to, and we want to be able to go immediately.

To do this, we need to know a lot about who our God is, check in with Him daily, and build a relationship with Him that leads to conviction.

Our God accepts us as we are, accepts us whole, and embraces us. There is no condemnation, no pep talk, no punishment, only the kind, tender, and extraordinary love of God.
