2 Corinthians 12:9 “Then the Lord said, "My grace is sufficient for you. Strength is only sufficient in weakness.

God has always given us enough grace for our needs. But we live our lives without realizing it.

When we feel overwhelmed by our own weakness, we cry out to God with inexpressible groans. Only then do we truly look up to God. Then, we will know what God is doing for each and every one of us.

Even though we are Christians, even though we pray every day, we don't know if we are really looking up to God.

But God knows us well.

We walk alone, unintentionally or not, away from God. When we stumble, fall into a hole, or make a mistake, we look up to God to return to Him, lamenting our own inadequacy.

And we realize that God is watching over us, not far from us, but close by.

So we don't have to be strong or weak. We can be the prodigal son every day to return to God in our mess. God reminds us that we want to return to Him, and even though we are weak, our God is strong, kind, and already victorious over the world!
