Exodus 15:26 “If you will surely obey the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in his sight, and listen to his commands, and keep all his statutes, then I will not bring upon you the sickness that I brought upon the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you."
The Israelites escaped from Egypt by crossing the Red Sea, and on the third day they began to complain. They complained to Moses that the water was bitter and they could not drink it. Moses gave it over to the Lord, and after the Lord made the water sweet, he passed these words on to them through Moses.
This does not mean, "If they act in accordance with God's law, God will not bring the disease upon them.”
I believe that if they know, believe, and accept "who God is" through the experience of being delivered from Egypt and given the water they sought, they will be nurtured in God's protection.
God clearly states in this scripture, "I am the Lord that healeth thee."
If we believe that, God will nurture, guide, and perfect us so that we can hear His voice, be led to do what is right in His eyes, listen to His commands, and keep all His laws. He nurtures, guides, and perfects us so that we can keep all His laws.
It is said, "God is the Lord who heals us."
We are first healed, loved, forgiven, guided, and perfected by God.
From today, let us ask God to heal our minds and bodies first!
