1 Thessalonians 5:3 "While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape
This is not to say that we should always worry. This does not mean that we should always be worried, nor does it mean that if we are not careful, destruction will strike.
Those who do not know God can only focus on immediate peace and enjoyment. Those who do not accept God do not know the signs of doom.
God made Jesus our substitute in order to save all people. We can be freed from sin and raised as God's children in new life simply by believing in Jesus.
Besides, we who believe in God are told by God of the signs that Jesus will come for us. But that doesn't mean we don't face any hardships or disasters.
We may even have pains like a pregnant woman coming our way.
But don't worry.
This pain is temporary and God will sustain us to endure it. And after the pain, we will see a wonderful sight.
After God has made us His children, He will never change it for any reason.
Our hard work, efforts, achievements, and good deeds do not determine our path as God's children.
God knows our weakness and unbelief, but He does not make it an issue.
He cares about the unspoken cries of our hearts to Him in spite of our weakness and unbelief.
We can run to Him and run away in our weakness.
Our God is already victorious over the world!
