Matthew 24:38,39 “Before the flood, people ate and drank, pledged and married, until the day Noah entered the ark. And they did not notice anything until the flood came and took every one of them. Such is the case with the coming of the Son of Man."
The state of the world before the Second Coming may be a state of being immersed in the riches and pleasures of this world, without a sense of crisis or anxiety, as this verse says. Matthew 24:42 says, "Therefore, stay awake. For you do not know when your Lord will come. "It is written, "And the second coming will be like unto a thief.”
The Bible says that the Second Coming will come like a thief.
But God is not the kind of God who just comes upon us without warning.
God is always careful not to cause us to panic or get confused and stumble at any time.
God is showing us the signs of his second coming.
He also shows us how we should wait for His coming.
He prepares us so that we can be awake, confident of our hope, and looking forward to waiting for Jesus to come for us.
We should always keep our focus on God and not on the world.
