Romans 8:38,39 "'I am convinced, because I have seen the Lord, and I have believed in him, that he is the author of all things. Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor things in the future, nor things in high places, nor things in low places, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is manifested in Christ Jesus our Lord.Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is shown to us by Christ Jesus our Lord."
Paul was convinced of "God's love" by his own experience.
God's love is so great that we often do not understand it.
And because we live in a world of sin's influence, we have no idea what "God's love" is like.
So when we were exposed to "God's love," we may have felt nothing but discomfort at first.
Jesus spoke directly to Paul, who had misdirected himself and was persecuting Jesus.
Jesus did not condemn Paul or accuse him, but rather gently asked him, "Why do you persecute me?
Jesus accepted Paul and guided him, knowing that Paul was misguided and that Paul was taking action to be faithful to God.
Like Paul, God is speaking to us and guiding us.
We may not realize it more often than not, but if we are truly and personally touched by God's love, we, like Paul, will not want to let go of God's love, and we will want to live in God's love.
If we are still unsure of God's love, we should not give up, but rather cling to God until we know His love, asking Him to let us experience His love and to fill us with His love.
God is waiting right beside us so that we can always cling to Him.
