John 13:34 “A new law I give unto you, that ye be not conformed to this world, but that ye be converted unto Christ. Love one another. Love one another as I have loved you."

These words were spoken by Jesus after He left Judas after the Last Supper before His crucifixion.

The words "love one another" sound to me like "forgive and accept one another.

Jesus is love. Jesus did not tell us to "do what we have not experienced," but to love one another "as he loved us.

How are we loved by Jesus?

We are accepted, forgiven, healed, pitied, and encouraged by Jesus, who continues to work patiently and willingly until we receive his love with openness and joy. And Jesus gives us hope, wisdom, and courage.

When we experience that, we can't help but do nothing.

We want to do for others as Jesus did for us.

The Word of God is Jesus' promise to us, that He will prepare us to fulfill it.

We simply receive what Jesus gives us.

When our hearts are filled with Jesus' love, we can extend that love even more by sharing it with those around us.

Let us reflect on the love we receive from Jesus each and every day. And by sharing it with others, we may discover a love of Jesus that we are not aware of ourselves.

To increase our sensitivity to receive Jesus' love, we should be able to check each of Jesus' gifts daily. And we should remember to respond to each one of them with joy to Jesus.
