Luke 10:20 ”But do not rejoice, just because demons are bearing down on you, but rather rejoice that your names are written in heaven. Rather, rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
We have received new life as "God's children" since we believed in and accepted Jesus' atoning cross.
That life does not grow through our efforts or achievements.
Even though we are growing as "God's children," we are living in a world affected by sin, and we have the potential to be threatened by its effects. When we take our eyes off of God, we can make service our reason for living, or become desperate to have a seeker baptized, or desperate to complete salvation in our own strength, or desperate to triumph over Satan in our own strength.
But Jesus wants more than that for us to deepen our relationship with Him and to live joyfully as His children.
We are not to express our faith with our "mouth" but with the way we live.
The seed of faith sown in our hearts by Jesus does not grow by our good works of compassion, but by the works of Jesus.
Jesus, who sowed the seeds, is responsible for each one.
We receive a lot of nourishment of love from Jesus, and the seeds sown in us will surely grow according to God's plan.
We are happy to see that. God will do all that is necessary.
We will become God's children, not someday, but already.
So we live now with confidence, but with a lowly heart, as children of God who will continue to grow forever.
It is a life of joy, peace, and hope!

NOTE: We are so sorry for the delay of our posts because the Philippines is experiencing a tropical storm so our internet is down for several days. And we were in the hospital for several weeks because we were caring for a dying friend who has no family member close by to her.
