Isaiah 49:15  “Will a woman forget her suckling child? Will not a mother pity her child whom she has borne? Though they forget, yet will I never forget thee."

Even though we may feel down and think, "The Lord has forsaken me, and the Lord has forgotten me," God does not scold or shelter us from such thoughts, but speaks to us strongly, as in these words, "Even though parents forget their children, God will never forget us."

Not only that, God says that He has carved us into the palm of His hand.

He assures us that He will never forget us, that we are part of His body, and that He will surround us with His powerful love and promise to protect us from being separated from Him.

It is we who let go of that promise.

If we let go of God's promises and of God Himself, He is not finished with us; He will risk His life to get us back, to search and find us.

True healing, peace, and hope can only come from God.
