John 1:10,11 “The Word was in the world. The world was formed by the Word, but the world did not recognize the Word. The Word came to his people, but they did not accept him."

We were born in this world and raised knowing only this world, so if we are not given the opportunity to know Jesus, we will live without knowing Him.

But strangely enough, we came to know, believe, and accept Jesus as our Savior.

What made us do that?

I believe that each of us was seeking the true God in the depths of our hearts. God did not miss that thought, but received it and certainly responded to it.

And we have received Jesus' response through the Holy Spirit, and we have responded by believing in and entrusting Jesus with joy and hope.

To those who have accepted Jesus, those who have believed in his name, Jesus has given the power to become children of God.

We are "born," John says, "not of blood, nor of the lusts of the flesh, nor of the lusts of man, but only of God.

We are born again as children of God by believing.
Even though we have nothing, even though we can do nothing, even though we boast of nothing, we are children of God.

Let us rejoice in that more, be more convinced of that, and share that joy. Joy is a gift and a miracle that Jesus gave us.

And the greatest miracle is that Jesus dwells in us.

Are you welcoming Jesus in you?

Jesus wants to share and rejoice with you. And He is waiting for you, never giving up.
