Matthew 1:18 “The circumstances of the birth of Jesus Christ were as follows: "His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, but before they were together, the Holy Spirit revealed that she was pregnant. His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, but before they were together, the Holy Spirit revealed that she was pregnant."

Our belief in God, our acceptance of His call, and our obedience to follow Him include facing head-on the winds of worldly values and common sense that we are used to have.

We may often fail to accept God's calling because we think first of our own personal safety.

I believe that Mary knew God well. Because she knew who God was, she was able to choose to bear with Him the difficulties and burdens that come with accepting God's call.

She had no idea what the future would bring, but she trusted God, She accepted God's call.

God responded faithfully to her choice, ministering to John and to Zachariah and Elizabeth.

When God proposes something to us, He is ready for everything.

When we respond to God's call, He works on each one that He has prepared, protecting us and guiding us. God does not use us alone, but prepares helpers, supporters, and sharers.

All we have to do is believe in God and accept His call.

The winds of the world are strong against God's calling, but we are carried along by God, feeling the magnitude of His love more than the strength of the winds. There, we are filled with peace, joy, and hope that we are with God.
