Ezekiel 44:23. "They must show my people the distinction between the holy and the profane, and teach them the difference between the unclean and the clean."

We have been set free from sin's dominion through the cross of Jesus, and by accepting Jesus as our Redeemer and Savior, we have received a new life.

It is up to us to choose to nurture it.

But the reality is that even though we have received new life, we are still affected by the world of sin and have become confused between the holy and the profane.

God knows all about such situations of ours, and when necessary, God makes us aware of the profane in us. Sometimes we see what God makes us aware of and are overwhelmed by the old ungodly values, common sense, customs, and thought processes within us, but we are not aware of anything unless God makes us aware of it.

Ellen G. White says that the greatest danger in this world is "the inability to see that sin is sinful. Sin is masked by complacency."We are told that we are sinful without God's guidance.

Without God's guidance, we will live unseen.

It is God who raises us up. God raises us as His children.
No matter how naughty, bad, or disobedient we are, God does not give up on us or abandon us.

However, if we do not choose to accept God's work, we will live without knowing Him.

What we do is not work hard on our own to become holy, but to accept God's work. Even that, the Holy Spirit will help us.

God gives us the wisdom and power to discern what is unclean and what is clean.

When God reminds us, we should stop and use the wisdom and power He has given us.

Our God is always with us and watching over us!

So, let's rely on God with all our might!
