Romans 1:16 "I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. For the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

These words of Paul are the very words that changed Paul's direction 180 degrees.

Paul's encounter with Jesus and God's education in him reveal the strength with which he understood God's plan and realized his mission.

This is not just Paul's experience, but one that can be experienced by everyone who encounters Jesus.

Are we experiencing freedom from sin through the cross of Jesus?

Are we experiencing being connected to God through Jesus' righteousness?

If not, are we asking God to help us experience it?

God is a God who gives when we ask.

Paul says that the gospel is the power of God that brings salvation to all who believe.

God has given this to us.

If we feel we have not received it, we can boldly ask God for it. Through Jesus' righteousness, we have it made possible.

Let us not lament our imperfection, but persistently ask God for assurance of salvation.

We are the kind of people who seek without knowing what to seek. Let us not give up there, but ask until we are given.

God is calling us from the beginning to the end without giving up in order to get us back.

Our God is a God who does not want any of us to perish, and He wants to bring us back to His side no matter what it takes.

Our God is a God who loves us that much!

When we seek God, we are responding to His love! And we will live a new life with Him.
