2 Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had nothing to do with sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God. Through him we have obtained the righteousness of God."
God has declared war against the sin that has entered me. God has declared war not against the sin that has entered us, but against Satan, who is the author of sin.
God saw us as victims of sin and wanted to free us from it.
God's declaration of war was fulfilled when Jesus died on the cross.
God made the sinless Jesus our substitute not because we are good sinners.
It is because He never gives up on us, never abandons us, and holds out hope until the very end that we can be set free from sin.
When we are touched by that love of God, we know that through Jesus' death and resurrection we are saved from our sins and that He has become our righteousness.
There is not a single one of us sinners who will believe who will not saved.
God has made Jesus a substitute for the salvation of all.
Everyone is saved from sin.
We just have to believe it and accept it so that we can be covered by Jesus' robe of righteousness.
The robe of righteousness is the burden of our sin, which is not given to us through our efforts or merits, but is given to any person simply by our believing and accepting Jesus as our Savior.
This is an extraordinary grace and the greatest miracle for us.
We are not sorry for God's grace, but gratitude, praise, and joy are the only response we can give to God.
