Philippians 2:7,8 "Appearing in human form, He humbled Himself and was obedient even unto death, even the death of the cross."

Our Jesus was obedient to the end, without resistance or rebellion against the common sense, customs, practices, and methods of this world, abandoning all of his values and his equations in the human world and the common sense and methods of the heavenly world.

And Jesus treats us the same way.

Human reality: The harder we work for the other person, the more we impose our own values and ways on them. We are not good at respecting the free will of the other person.

We are more eager to understand, forgive, and accept ourselves than to understand, forgive, and accept the other person.

We are self-centered to no end.

But Jesus gave up himself to the end for us and treated us as precious.

What would we call this if we did not call it love?

Humility may never be in the limelight in this world, but if we are touched by Jesus' humility, we will realize that God's treasure is there.

We can never be like Jesus by ourselves, but we can be a reflection of His character by always looking up to Him.
