Psalm 95:1 "Let us sing joyfully to the Lord. Let us shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation."

It may be common for us to express our gratitude, joy, and pride in God when He does what we want Him to do.

But our true joy in God is not to such an extent.

God continues to forgive us, watch over us, guide us, and have mercy on us even when we are completely unaware that we are sinners and feel no need of God.

He has freed us from sin and set us free to know Him when we didn't even know He existed.

Even if we know and believe God, our suffering and trials will not cease, and we will not be able to fully trust God.

But God makes us His children and raises us up if we believe.

Also, God has always shown us that He is already victorious over the world and that He will never abandon us.

The more we know who God is, what He has done for us, and what He will do for us, the more we can hold out hope and wait on His promises for what lies ahead.

And when we experience God's work in our daily lives, we will let out cries of joy that we can hardly believe.

The shouts of joy come to us every day, not just at the Second Coming. We are also allowed to rest in God's love by sharing our joy.
