Isaiah 40:26 Lift up your eyes and see who has created all things in heaven. Count them, and there is none that can escape the mighty power, the fierce vigor, of Him who has drawn them out/He who calls them by their respective names."

Israel, who disobeyed God, would be destroyed by Babylon and go into captivity, but God would speak the message that they would be delivered from there. In doing so, God shows what He is like.

God is a mighty God and He rules over the world. (Isaiah 40:10) God is a God who feeds His flock like a shepherd, tenderly caring for, protecting, and guiding them. (Isaiah 40:11) God is the Creator, the One who shows us the way, the God who bestows on us more love than we can ever comprehend no matter how much we think with our limited thinking power.

The more we know this, the more we wonder what we have to fear. We have nothing to fear. We have this great God. What we need to do is not to look at our problems and be afraid, but to look at our God

We must lift up our eyes and see who created them. Then we must remember that He looked at us, who are no better than dust, poured out His heart and saved us from our sins, and entrust everything to Him. It is not a human solution to our problems, but looking up to God in faith, that is the solution, and that is where true comfort is given.

God wants us to look up to Him always and at all times, not because of what we have done or how well we have kept the Law, but only because of what we have done. When we look up to God, He will give us the strength we need.

The result will be seen in our actions. When we look up to God, we are put into the spiritual chemical change that God is causing!
