Gospel Reflections #304: God delights to Provide for us

Genesis 1:31 "And God saw everything that he had made. And behold, it was very good."

When God created the heavens and the earth, did He say "it was good" because He felt that His workmanship was good? I do not think so. I think God prepared everything necessary for us human beings, and when He saw that it was all in place, He said, "It was good.

God created us after He had prepared everything for us. So when we were created, there was nothing lacking or inadequate.

He is such a perfect God who loves us and delights in us so much.

This is no different for us today; God provides for our needs.

When we notice each of these things, we are amazed, joyful, and grateful.

Even when sin comes in and we can only live within the effects of sin, God is working without rest for the same preparation, care, and revelation of Himself to us.

When we touch, see, taste, and experience such a God, we cannot think of leaving Him.
