Revelation 2:4 "But I have something to say to you. You have departed from the love that was in you at first."

What does it mean to be separated from the love you had at first?

Does it mean that we have lost faith?

I feel that it means that we have fallen away from God as we had been in the beginning in Eden.

What does it mean to be separated from God when we have faith and walk the path of faith?

Many things happen to us every day. We may experience more hardships than joys. At such times, we interact with people, see people, and are influenced by people.

When things are hard, we may look up to God right away, but when things are going well, we tend to rely on ourselves rather than on God or on others rather than on God, thinking that we can somehow manage on our own.

We may look like things are going well in reality, but we don't even realize that we are actually far away from God.

But God is not telling us that we should not fail or make mistakes; He is reminding us of our present condition.

This word is also not God's rebuke to us, but a kind of diagnosis of illness.

And God also shows us the proper remedy.

God does not give up on us or forsake us no matter how poorly we do, remember, or do not listen at all.

God always surrounds us with His unchanging love.

When God gives us a reminder, we just need to accept it and ask Him for what we lack.

God is always waiting for us to notice and ask for what we lack.

Let's talk to God more boldly!
