Acts 4:31 "When the prayer was over, the place where they were all gathered was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness."

This is the reaction of the whole group when the two men returned to their friends and reported that Peter and John had been arrested and threatened because of the disciples' boldness in speaking the word of God after Pentecost.

The church is not a building, but the people gathered there.

When we gather together to share and rejoice in what God has done and who we believe God is, our confidence in Him deepens.

And God makes us think boldly that we cannot do it in our own strength.

Instead of giving up on it as impossible, we can all focus on the thought that we can't do it, but our God can, and we can ask God for it with all our hearts.

The moment we turn to God, He causes the Holy Spirit to work in us and fill our hearts with His peace and confidence.

And through the work of the Holy Spirit, we can speak of God with boldness.

We can not only think about God in our hearts, but we can put it into words, share it with each other, and pray and rejoice with confidence in the God we believe in, and then the Holy Spirit works and God creates a spiritual chemical reaction called a miracle.

We can remain weak as God strengthens us in Jesus!

When we who are weak become one, God will reveal His strength to us.
