Psalm 139:14 "I give thanks to you, for you are my God. I am fashioned by a terrible power / In wondrous things. How marvelous are your works / My soul knows well."
Our bodies are full of God's works. We have parts of our bodies that we can control and parts that we cannot. Who is controlling the parts we cannot control?
There is a whole battle going on in our bodies. God is protecting our bodies in ways we are completely unaware of.
Just as air and sunlight are given to good people and bad people alike, God is working inside every person's body to protect them. There is no such thing as the norm.
Behind everything we take for granted, there is always God's work.
The more we know this, the more we realize that we cannot live without God's protection. We realize that we do not live by ourselves, but are kept alive by God.
This realization turns us toward God and allows us to know Him and immerse ourselves in His love and joy.
Our commonplace is God's miracle!
