Psalm 91:4,5 "God will cover you with his feathers And shield you under his wings. The truth of God is a great shield and a small shield. You shall not be afraid of the things that threaten you by night, / nor of the arrows that fly by day."
Our world is a huge battlefield in the war between good and evil. Without God's constant protection, we would be completely overwhelmed by the attacks of the forces of evil.
God always hides us under the shadow of His wings and heals us.
But that presupposes that we flee to God.
God knows all about our situation, but He does not work on His own without our will.
When we feel God's need and run to Him, seeking Him, Jesus covers us. Then God accepts us, rests us, heals us, encourages us, and meets our needs.
We can run to God in peace knowing through experience who our God is and what He has done for us.
God does not change various situations outside of us, but He is inside of us and works in our hearts.
The more we experience it and know the peace of being with God, the sooner we can run under His wings.
Let's discover God a lot in our daily lives and be filled with joy so that we can be sure of God's protection, just like today's words!
