1 Corinthians 6:12 "All things are permitted unto me."But not all things work together for good. For to me all things are permitted."But I am not subject to anything."
We have had the shackles of sin removed by Jesus' sacrifice. We have been set free from the bondage of sin by Jesus. This means that we are forgiven by Jesus, but it does not mean that we can do whatever we want. We are allowed by Jesus to use our "freedom of choice."
"Freedom of choice" does not mean that we are free to choose whatever we want, but that we are given the freedom to choose between God's power and our own power, to choose whether to entrust to God or to depend on ourselves, and "freedom of choice" means that God respects our free will.
Freed from sin, we can know who has done so and how. And when we believe and accept that salvation, we can choose God in our freedom.
Our God does not force us or pressure us. He waits patiently for us to choose Him willingly after we know Him well enough.
The more we know God, the more we are led to want to choose Him. Let's relax and get closer to God. Let's feel and taste God's love more.
It's okay to choose God after that!
God will never give up on us!
