Matthew 25:40 "So the king replies. 'Let me tell you plainly. What you did to one of these least of these, my brothers, you did to me."

These are Jesus' words about those who will inherit the Kingdom, when all will be divided into sheep and goats before the Second Coming.

Jesus is focusing on "to whom you have done it."

He also tells us "how He did it" in Matthew 25:35,36.

We tend to pursue only "to whom and how," but those who were told to inherit the Kingdom did not even remember what they did, when and to whom.

Why?

They were not focused on when, to whom, or what they did; they were simply expressing the joy of being saved by Jesus through their actions.

Instead of doing a "to do" list to get into heaven, all we have to do is to express the joy of being already saved in all our actions, words, and expressions.

We can share God's love with those around us as much as God loves us. We can also have fun doing it.

So instead of worrying about which way we will be divided before the Second Coming, we should look to the joy of being saved by Jesus and the love God has given us and enjoy sharing our response. The more we share the talents of love God has given us, the more He will expand them!
