Gospel Reflections #253: We Believe in the God of the Bible

2 Peter 1:16 "We did not use clever fables to announce the powerful coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have witnessed the majesty of Christ."

If we try to tell people about Jesus' miracles in the Bible, the world may only receive them as fairy tales.

Perhaps this is because they are so far removed from our lives.

But we believe in the same God of biblical times, and we experience every single thing He does every day.

We are certainly experiencing God every day.

When we see the light of God at work for us, we experience a peace, joy, and hope that we cannot experience in this world.

No matter how hard we try to accumulate good things, God does not ask such things of us.

He only wants us to receive and rejoice in the hope that He gives us.

Because God is our Father!
