2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is written under the guidance of the Spirit of God and is effective in teaching, rebuking, correcting error, and training in righteousness. Thus those who serve God are well equipped to do any good work."
The Bible is about Jesus Christ and what God is like, what He has done and will do for us.
In fact, reading the Bible alone does not change anything for us.
God enters our hearts when we know, believe, and accept Him in the Bible. He changes our hearts.
When we give our hearts to Jesus, we do not automatically know the depth of God's love for us. We grow in our experience of God's love through our desire for Him in the midst of our mistakes and failures, through our running to Him in our suffering, and through our trust in Him in the uncertainty of life.
We do not live a perfect life, but a life in Jesus, where we know from the Bible where to run to, where there is hope, and who will save us.
We can be re-educated by the Holy Spirit and know that the depth of God's love in Jesus is true wisdom.
And we only grow when the presence of God through the Holy Spirit dwells in our hearts.
Jesus did not leave us waiting alone until He returns to heaven to come for us again, but He has placed the Holy Spirit by our side.
It is God who justifies us, not us.
The cross declares us righteous and means that if we put our trust in Jesus, we can be justified, declared righteous, and live a life that is all about experiencing God's love.
This is the love of God!
