Exodus 3:10 "Go now. I will send you to Pharaoh. Bring out the people of my people Israel out of Egypt."
What do we say when God makes a proposal like this?
"I am not capable of that. Why me?" "God does what is best!"
We might think of excuses for refusing like this.
Moses was no different.
God, on the other hand, was helping Moses to compensate for his weakness and was preparing God's work necessary for Moses to accept this proposal.
God's call to us is the same. God does not propose anything that we can do without His help.
It is not because God is mean, but because He provides an environment in which He can work with us.
God offers us things that seem impossible in our eyes. God prepares to meet all our needs so that we can choose to do them.
Only those who accept God's unreasonable proposals can experience God preparing everything.
Even in that choice, we can choose God's calling because God is there for us, soothing us, encouraging us, and giving us courage.
God's imperative text in the Bible says, "God never gives up on us or forsakes us. He is always with us. You are not alone!"The underlying message is always hidden.
God's work begins even before we receive His call. God's calling is not ours to do, but God does it with us. Our God is a God who is trustworthy and more than trustworthy!
