Mark 13:24,25 "In those days, after such tribulation, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not shine, the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken."
This describes the eschatological signs that will precede the second coming of Jesus.
This is not to say that God is telling us to "endure" because such supernatural things will occur after the Tribulation.Rather, when these things happen, we are told to remember that "My coming is near."
Those of us who have given birth have experienced something similar.
They say that labor pains are so unusual that they are out of this world.
I have heard that men will not be able to endure labor pains, but pregnant women can endure labor pains because they have hope that beyond these pains they will meet their child.
Revelation tells us that we too will have tribulations and supernatural signs before we meet Jesus, but these are only signs of His arrival.
Where we focus our reality will be in proportion to our current relationship with God.
God does not want us to be unnecessarily fearful or confused. He tells us little by little what is ahead so that we are not confused.
God promises to come for us and to be with us to the end.
And we will see that promise fulfilled soon!
