Heb. 9:24 "For Christ entered not into the sanctuary made with human hands, which is only a copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, and has now appeared before God for us."

Christ came as a human being from the heavenly realm to earth to free us from sin. He then died a substitutionary death for us on the cross for our sins. Three days later, He was resurrected as God and returned to heaven. He will come back to this earthly world to receive us. So what is Christ doing in heaven now?

Christ died on the cross to free us from sin, but we are saved because we believe in and accept Christ, not automatically on our own. Christ is waiting for us to choose Him with our will, and He is interceding for us.

We live on earth, free from the dominion of sin but still there is the presence of sin. Christ is working to make sure that our faith does not disappear until He comes to pick us up, so that we can choose Christ for ourselves.

He is also working to give those who do not yet know Christ the opportunity to do so.

He continues to work to let us know that we are already free from sin.

And when all is ready and all is prepared, He will come for us.

He comes to receive those who are waiting for Christ, regardless of our deeds or achievements.

How can this not be hope for us?

God wants to take us back and live with us as He did when He created us, and He will never give up on that. God is faithful and He will come for us. It is coming soon!
