Proverbs 22:3 "The wise man, when he sees calamity coming, hides himself. The shallow try to get through and get hurt."
We are what God created us to be.
But we don't really know what we are like.
We pride ourselves on what we can do on our own, and we are sometimes overconfident that we can do everything ourselves.
We can also get depressed when things go wrong and stop doing even the things we can do ourselves.
God does not ask us to do everything in our own strength.
Rather, God wants us to rely on Him more.
When we are in the midst of a trial, instead of thinking about how to get through it, the only safe and secure way is to run to God, realizing that we have no power and that it is best to run to the God who made us.
Humility, in my opinion, is not just belittling us, but acknowledging who we are and confirming who God is.
God tells us to be proud of our weaknesses. Our strength comes from God.
Let us look up to God today and exercise faith and thought!
