Gospel Reflections #187: God Continues to Communicate to Us

Matthew 2:2 'We have seen his star in the east, and have come to worship him.'

The wisemen were a clerical class of astronomers and magicians from Persia and Babylon who were trusted advisors to the kings of those countries. They also studied the Bible. And I am sure they were waiting for the Savior.

God continues to communicate with all who will listen to His voice. No matter how spiritually and mentally distant we feel from God, He knows how to reveal His way to all of us. And God never gives up! Whenever we make a choice to do His will, He always reveals the way.

The wise men also came to worship Jesus because they saw the prophesied star with their own eyes.

God is showing us the way too. We see it, hear it, and notice it, so we respond to God.

Let us receive the fact that God continues to show Himself to us until the end of this year!
