Acts 1:11 "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up to heaven? Jesus, who was taken away from you and lifted up to heaven, will come again in the same way that you saw him go into heaven."
How amazed and happy the disciples must have been to see the resurrected Jesus!
When he ascended to heaven without them, they must have been at a loss.
At that time, an angel encouraged them and gave them hope.
The disciples may not have understood what Jesus said to them before His ascension or what the angel said to them, but God is a God who neither leaves us nor neglects us, but encourages us, encourages us, and gives us hope.
We too have received that promise.
We can be saved by believing in that promise and in the God who gives it.
God saved us when we were still sinners, when we did not even ask for help. And He comes for those who believe and accept it.
For those of us who are too weak to even believe, God has given us the Bible and the Holy Spirit.
The Bible reveals who God is, what He has done for us, and what He will do for us. And the Holy Spirit leads us to know God better through the Bible.
We are placed in a battle between the uncertainty of reality and the faith in God until Jesus comes for us, but God will certainly facilitate the wisdom and strength we need as long as we rely on Him. Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus is with us.
So let us look forward to His coming.
