Revelation 13:8 "All who dwell on the earth whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain will worship the beast."
God sees everything, so He knows our final destination.
But this doesn't mean our fate is predetermined from the start.
God sees all of the past, present, and future. Even if our names aren't written in the Book of Life, He never gives up on us.
God shows us who He is right up until the very end, waiting for us to joyfully choose Him.
That we were given the opportunity to know God and believe in Him is entirely due to God's guidance and work.
Without it, we would have been among those worshiping the beast.
Jesus, the Lamb slain, was part of God's plan to save us from the very beginning of creation.
And that plan was fulfilled on the cross.
All we need to do is respond to what God has done for us.
This response means believing in God, relying on God, obeying God, and delighting in God.
And until Jesus comes to welcome us home, we will share God and God's family on this earth, rejoicing together.
