Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; I am God."
Even though we Christians believe in God, we sometimes feel anxious or afraid.
Even when God says, "Fear not," anxiety still clings to us in this world.
What do we do in such times?
I believe we naturally cry out to God for help.
This is not so much about wanting to eliminate the anxious situation, but rather, the expectation and hope that God will protect us when we seek His help calms our anxiety.
This is because God surely hears our cries and acts upon them.
God is with us always, but we often fail to notice it.
But when we call out to God for help, when we cry out to God, we experience that God hears us and responds.
Through the repetition of this experience, we come to truly feel God's presence with us.
And that feeling leads to joy and hope.
Because God will never abandon us!
