Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."
Jesus is always standing at the door of our hearts.
Jesus does not force His way in.
Because Jesus respects our free will.
And Jesus patiently waits until we open the door.
When we face difficulties, we sometimes wish Jesus would just come in and help us, but that's because we desire not Jesus Himself, but only His power and miracles.
When Jesus says He will dine with us, it means He desires to converse with us, to fellowship with us, to get to know each other, and to build a relationship of trust.
We may desire to seek Jesus, yet perhaps we are not conscious of building that relationship of trust with Him.
Yet, the more we come to know Jesus, the more we desire to engage with Him, to be heard by Him, and to speak with Him.
Let us choose to experience His presence abundantly in our ordinary daily lives and ask God for this.
For Jesus has been knocking on the door of our hearts all along.
