John 17:24 "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am."

This is part of Jesus' intercessory prayer for us.

Jesus does not evaluate our actions or thoughts and intercede accordingly.

Jesus is fulfilling the perfect promise of God the Father's plan for the salvation of humanity.

Saying this might make it seem as if our existence is irrelevant, but the plan for humanity's salvation is founded on God's extraordinary love for us.

God sees us as irreplaceable beings, so precious He wouldn't even blink to protect us.

I feel that Jesus offers intercessory prayer to God the Father because Jesus always prioritizes unity with God the Father above all else.

The relationship between Jesus and God the Father is the ultimate ideal relationship, and "becoming one" is what means "eternity."

Jesus intercedes for us unconditionally.

It is our choice that brings this intercession to fulfillment.

As we recognize and reliably receive the grace from Jesus, His intercession is fully accomplished.
