2 Corinthians 8:9 "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich."

Jesus gave up everything for us humans.

Jesus laid aside His divine authority and came to us.

Jesus was not born into this world as the King of Heaven, but as a mere human child.

Jesus never once flaunted His heavenly authority in this world.

On the contrary, He served us as a servant throughout His life.

All this was done solely to save us and live with us.

Yet we still scarcely grasp how rich it is for us to be with Jesus always.

Yet when we lift our eyes to Jesus and long to know Him, the Holy Spirit works within us.

And the path to experiencing the richness found in Jesus opens up.

That path will likely be one of trials, but even in the midst of trials and battles, Jesus gives us peace.

This is true richness.
