Hebrews 3:4 "Every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God."
Just as the builder of a house is honored more than the house itself, God, who created all things, deserves our highest honor. Yet we often take the natural world, existing since our birth, for granted.
Though God gives us our faith and nurtures it, we sometimes feel as if we cultivated it ourselves.
When we can turn our eyes to God's work behind what we see and feel, we are made aware of how we've been focusing only on our own small selves, and we can open a window to a much larger world.
We exist today because we were created by God, loved by God, and guided by God.
Let us give thanks for being allowed to dwell in God's grace and joyfully savor this moment.
