Isaiah 46:4 "Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you."

God is the One who created us, loves us to the very end, shows us mercy, is gracious toward us, guides us, protects us, and helps us.

Even if our faith is as small as a mustard seed, even if we sometimes stray from God in unbelief, He is faithful to fulfill His promises.

Before this verse, it says, "You have been carried since birth, carried since you came forth from the womb."

By whom have we been carried?

It is our God.

And just as this Scripture says, God will carry us until our old age.

The following words declare plainly: "I have made you. I will carry you, bear you, and rescue you."

We who believe this need not worry about anything.

We simply need to receive the grace, messages, and insights God gives us and respond to them.

It is not about whether we can do good deeds, but whether we can believe in God's promise.

God's feelings toward us have not changed at all.

The problem lies with us.

When we become aware of these problems, by seeking help from God who carries us, we can deepen our relationship with Him.
