Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God."
God saved us not because we are wonderful or hardworking.
Despite having no merit or worth to be saved, God saved us.
This is grace, and we were saved through faith in it.
Being saved doesn't automatically make us wonderful people. Instead, we are transformed in God through joyfully receiving what He gives us.
God knows all our true needs and is actively working to provide them.
Behind everything we accomplish well in this world, and everything we come to realize, God's guidance, protection, and support are always present.
We have nothing to boast about within ourselves, but God doesn't hold that against us when we do.
God truly cares that we accept Him working within our weakness.
God has prepared many gifts for us.
If we earnestly seek what we lack, God will respond immediately.
And we are filled with joy and peace, knowing not just His works, but that God cares for us, speaks to us, and is always near.
