1 John 3:5 "You know that he appeared to take away sins, and in him there is no sin."

Before this scripture, it states, "Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure." This signifies that when people contemplate the Lord's great righteous moral standard, God's holy law, and perceive their sinful nature by the light of that law, the Son appeared to take away our sins.

Truth is received in the heart, and people are cleansed and sin removed through faith in Jesus Christ.

God's righteousness is His holiness against sin, and Christ bore the sins of the world for mankind.

This was so that sinners might use every opportunity and advantage God has prepared for them, and be given another chance to try again.

Jesus is the One who transforms our failures into a stage of grace; He is never the One who closes the door on His tools of mercy, even in the midst of falsehood and unbelief.

God's grace begins unilaterally, but it is completed through a mutual relationship where we accept it, receive it, consent to it, and cooperate in obedience.

Even if you yourself are unsure whether you are expecting a miracle or seeking God, God surely discerns the desires of our hearts.
