John 19:30 "When Jesus had received the wine, he said, 'It is finished.'"
When Christ spoke these words, the entire heavens rejoiced triumphantly.
The great conflict between Christ and Satan concerning the plan of salvation had ended.
It was the fulfilment of the covenant made between the Heavenly Father and the Son before the foundations of the earth were laid.
The Heavenly Father and Christ joined hands, making a solemn promise: should humanity be overcome by Satan's deceit, Christ would become humanity's substitute and surety.
At this moment, the covenant was fully executed.
Christ was conscious that He had precisely accomplished the covenant He Himself had made.
Through this, we have been liberated from the wages of sin.
Therefore, we can joyfully and boldly walk the path as children of God, leaving the past behind.
