2 Samuel 22:47 “The Lord is the God of life. Praise my rock. Praise God, the Rock of my salvation."
This is part of David's song of thanksgiving.
We, too, are given times through our experiences when we are convinced that God is our Savior.
Our God does not change our difficult circumstances or events, but gives us the peace of knowing that He is with us in our hearts.
And when we experience that, we know who God is to us.
Through repeated experiences of this, we can deepen our trust in God.
The more we trust God, the more we praise and glorify Him, and the more we are filled with joy in Him.
